When you think of donating, do you usually think of donating money and time? I know I do. However, another form of donation that is intriguing to think about includes organ donation. I have mentioned organ donation in this post because I think it is important to remember how many facets there are when it comes to how we can donate.

As far as a personal organ donation story goes, my father was killed in a motorcycle accident in August 2006. He was declared brain dead by the next morning after the accident. As a family, we chose to have his organs donated because we believed that is what he would have wanted. Around 5 lives were changed due to receiving my dad's organs.
