Thank you for all of your comments last week! It's good to see new people writing, too!

I saw the movie Get Smart this past weekend. Very funny! This week, I'd like to know what your favorite movie is, and why? Also, another question for the more financial side of watching movies: at what price do you think you would stop going to see movies in the theater because it's too expensive? $15, $20, $50??

My favorite movie changes every so often, but my favorite right now is Spanglish, and it has been for a few years now. I love it! I think Adam Sandler, Tea Leoni, and Paz Vega all did an amazing job.

My favorite movie is any one of the Lord of the Rings Movies and I don't to watch a movie in the theater unless I really want to see the movie and stop going $20

Nice movie selection. I like Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings! If movies at the theater really did become around $25 or so, it would have to be a movie I really wanted to see, and I would probably only go a couple times a year for a special occasion. (If cost of living was the same, etc). Have a good evening!

I would spend up to $20 on a movie ticket but it would have to be a movie I really wanted to see and/or I was going with a lot of friends.

My favorite movie would be Remember the Titans.

Hmm... good question. I think there's a different cut-off depending on how badly I want to see the movie. If I'm just going because a bunch of friends are going, then $12 would be my limit. If it's a movie that I really wanted to see, then I might be willing to pay up to $20. Of course, I don't really go out to the movies that often: the last movie I saw was Prince Caspian, but before that, it was I Am Legend. One of my friends has a dollar theater by her house, and if I had one of those, then I'd just wait to see any movie until it came out there.

My favorite movie is definitely Pirates of the Caribbean. Since it's not just a "chick flick" it's a movie you can watch and then discuss with a mixed group of friends. I really liked Phantom of the Opera and the new Pride and Prejudice (w/ Kiera Knightley).

the best new movie is definitely hancock with will smith!! it was awesome! the maximum amount that i would pay for a movie ticket would be $20. $50 would be way too much.

About two weeks ago, my sister and I decided that we would try to bike more places instead of driving. (This was mostly influenced by the exercise and high gas prices, though.) I am also going to try to bring my own bag(s) with me when I go shopping. I just recently got hooked on card making, and I can take old buttons/trim/ribbon from clothes I'm about to throw away, and then decorate cards with them.
